FLINT, MI – Financial Plus made a huge difference at the Humane Society of Genesee County. Financial Plus donated $1,000, pet supplies, and volunteered at the shelter on May 18th. All donations went directly towards the Humane Society of Genesee County animals’ needs. The Humane Society operates on donations only and does not receive Federal or State funding.
“Financial Plus is proud to be a part of such a wonderful cause that makes it possible for our four legged friends to get the care they deserve. The shelter doesn’t receive funding so donations like we made will make all the difference in each animals life that comes through the shelter” said Olga Long, Senior Vice President.
The Humane Society of Genesee County, located in Burton, provides the animals with the best possible humane treatment until they are able to find the animals a forever home. Their mission is to provide shelter and adoption of companion animals, reduce over-population, extend humane education, prevent cruelty, and provide those services that promote the goals and policies of The Humane Society of Genesee County.
