FLINT, MI – Financial Plus Credit Union is proud to announce the two winners of their 2020 myCollege Checking Scholarship, Madeline Rasberry and Kylie Scott. Each winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship to use in the 2020-2021 academic school year for tuition, fees, books, and room and board.
“Helping lessen the financial burden of college tuition is one of our primary goals of offering this exclusive scholarship program to our myCollege Checking members.” Remarked, Olga Long, Vice President of Strategic Growth and Marketing. “We are pleased to have awarded two deserving recipients, Madeline and Kylie, with our myCollege Scholarship. Their dedication to continuing their education and pursuing their degrees is admirable. We would also like to extend a thank you to all scholarship applicants. We wish them the best in their future educational endeavors.” Long commented.
Madeline Rasberry of Davison, is attending the University of Michigan-Flint this fall to continue to pursue a degree in nursing. As a member of Financial Plus Credit Union, Madeline feels proud to be a member. “We will remain loyal to our beloved Credit Union and know that they have our back, even when times are tough. Financial hardships can hit anyone. Fortunately, a local credit union is never too far away”. Kylie Scott of Flushing, is attending the University of Michigan-Flint this fall to pursue a degree in Human Biology. Kylie is grateful doing business with Financial Plus and for the great customer service she receives. “My first ever loan was given to me by Financial Plus, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Each winner was selected based on academics, letter of recommendation, and essay. Designated scholarship judges at Financial Plus Credit Union reviewed all scholarship entries and awarded the scholarship recipients based on attaining all eligibility requirements and contents of essay.
