Community Involvement: Joining Hands for a Brighter Future

At FPCU, we recognize the importance of giving back to the communities we serve. Annually, we contribute over thousands of hours of our time to support local organizations and fundraisers and we take pride in our mission to empower our neighbors to thrive.  Follow our community involvement on this page and on our Facebook page. We know that together, we can achieve remarkable results.

Financial Plus Helped Raise Over $200,000 for Local Cancer Patients

Pink Night Palooza, co-founded by Financial Plus Credit Union and the Hurley Foundation, celebrated its 17th year with another incredible show of community support. The annual campaign raised $202,085 for the Hurley Breast Cancer Navigation Fund, continuing its mission of helping local patients access essential care and support during treatment. The grand total reflects the combined efforts of sponsors, donors, auction participants, and mini fundraisers.

Financial Plus Credit Union contributed a record $35,000 toward this year’s fundraising total through its annual mini fundraisers, Banking to Beat Cancer and Pink Bake Sale, along with a corporate donation. Banking to Beat Cancer raised $13,958, and the annual Pink Bake Sale brought in $11,429, marking the strongest year yet for both efforts. All funds raised by Financial Plus directly support Hurley’s Breast Cancer Navigation Fund.
