Application period: February 16, 2026 - April 17, 2026
Scholarship Application Requirements:
- Be a current Michigan resident
- Open to high school students graduating in 2026 with a minimum (GPA) of 2.5, current full-time college students, and trade school students (no membership required)
- Complete application form
- Write a short essay (500 words or less)
Think about how ready you are for a successful financial future. Do you feel prepared, why or why not? Share one specific thing you wish you had learned about money earlier in life. Talk about how you're going to learn it now and how it can help you do well in the future. - Provide one letter of recommendation
- Provide official transcripts

- Drop off your printed application packet (containing application form, short essay, letter of recommendation, and official transcripts) at any Financial Plus Credit Union Branch office by 5:00 p.m. on April 17, 2026
- Mail your printed application packet to the following address post-marked by April 17, 2026
